Founded in 2020, Handcraftd transforms sneakers and clothing into unique pieces that express identity and character. What began as a small custom workshop has become an international destination for wearable art designed for those who choose to stand out.
HOW OUR PROJECT WAS BORN

HANDCRAFTD TIMELINE

The project was born in 2020 under the name UnderG, which later became Handcraftd with a rebranding designed to better reflect our vision and the current direction of the brand.
2020

The origins of the project (UnderG)

The first craft workshop dedicated to customizing sneakers, garments and accessories is born. The goal is not to sell products, but to transform common objects into expressions of personal identity. The first custom designs are made completely by hand in a private studio.

2021

First collections and organic growth

The first thematic collections and limited drops are launched. Word of mouth leads to spontaneous growth: the first international clients arrive, collaborations with independent creators and on-demand productions for private clients.

2022

Openness to the public and recognizability

The project evolves: the first physical space/lab that can be visited is opened and an active community of artists, designers and customers is born. Products begin to circulate on social and marketplaces, cementing a reputation in the world of handmade custom.

2023

Brand development and quality standards

Quality control processes, dedicated packaging and custom protection products are introduced. UnderG Experience, the proprietary platform that allows customers to digitally customize their sneakers through an advanced configurator, is developed. Users can create their design directly online and send it to the lab for custom production.

2024

Rebranding in Handcraftd

The brand evolves into Handcraftd to align with a clearer and more ambitious vision: not to offer simple custom, but to create wearable art. The rebranding introduces a new visual identity, a more defined aesthetic language, and stricter quality standards. Henceforth, each product is conceived as a unique piece with artistic dignity, not as a mass-produced variant, a choice that sanctions the transition from "custom shop" to WEARABLE ART studio.

2025

Expansion and internationalization

Handcraftd becomes a global destination for those seeking custom products with attention to detail. The custom line is complemented by a selection of garments and accessories chosen for aesthetic consistency. The brand grows while maintaining the same philosophy: no mass production, only identity.
